My dance audition was at 3:00 Friday afternoon, March 1st, and my singing audition was at 5:15pm. After my audition, I walked up Bolyston, turned left on Massachusetts Avenue and called my mom again with extreme enthusiasm about how well my audition just went. The next morning, I walked Freedom Trail and Fanueil Hall before my flight home to Chicago....We got news of my acceptance on March 16 and I remember jumping up and down and hugging Scott and crying in our apartment in Hyde Park.

I'm afraid I can't share where its from, because I have only its xeroxed copy (Gourmet or Bon Apetit, most likely.)sopa de limaserves 4-68 C chicken broth1/2 C fresh lime juice (2.5 of my limes)canola oil1 medium onion, chopped*2-4 serrano or other hot chilies, seeded and chopped (to taste)2 garlic cloves, finely chopped3/4 lb chicken breasts or thighs, trimmed of fat and diced2-3 large vine-ripened tomatoes, seeded and dicedsalt4 corn tortillas, cut into 1/2-in stripsa couple Tbs fresh cilantro leaves*Since I didn't have the chilies on hand, I used a teaspoon of dried red pepper flakes. Add onion and cook, stirring often, until its translucent and beginning to brown (5 minutes.) Stir in chilies (or red pepper flakes) and garlic;
